Byungchunawoonae Food Inc. is a franchise company which
owns a chain of businesses producing traditional local food, Soondae.
We have 210 chain stores in Korea. Our company has a cooking laboratory
to develop new products and supply these things to chain stores. We
also try to succeed to our Korean traditional localfoods, develop
them into modern taste, and get people like these foods.
On 6 July 2001 we received a prize in honor of a superior brand which
was sponsored by Korea's Franchise Economic Men Association, the Ministry
of Industry and Resources. Our products, Soondae also has guaranteed
by Mayor of Chungcheng province as 'Excellent Food'. |

We use the most thinnest and softest chitterlings in
the pigs' intestines. After being thoroughly washed, we combine about
20 domestic ingredients, for example cabbage, spring onion, garlic,
ginger, pickled shrimps and other spices and blend them with the pig's
blood which is good for anemia, headache, and a heart disease.
With traditional hand work and modern sanitary facility, we put the
ingredients into the chitterlings to make the Soondae. Our Soondae
does not smell of pig and is soft and tasty to chew, so some consumers
who dislike traditional Soondae will learn to like ours. |

| Byungchun Soondae adds blood to the chitterlings, so
there may be some sanitary distribution problems. To get rid of these
problems, Soondae is frozened at a temperature of -40 degrees, snap
frozen and distributed them in refrigerated vans that maintain fresh.
We have also developed methods to improve our Soondae's ripening time
in both cooking and in other environments so its quality and taste
does not change. Byungchun Sundae can be distributed for 180 days
from the produced date . |
